FFA is........

Leadership: FFA provides premier leadership through career development events, public speaking, and training.  Leadership=Influence.

Travel: The FFA provides the opportunity for you to travel locally, statewide, and globally through exchange programs.  From State Convention to National Convention, Hobbton FFA members participate in my activities in which travel is involved.

Membership:  Membership allows students to participate in activities ranging from the chapter to the national level.

Careers: Participate in one of 21 career development events in which the Hobbton FFA Chapter participates in order to learn more about a career in which you are interested.

Community Service:  Hobbton FFA members donate their time and resources to help out our community.  From the Governor's keep North Carolina Clean and Green Program to recycling aluminum cans, Hobbton FFA members are involved in the community.

Competition and Recognition:  Hobbton FFA members compete each year in career development events, proficiency awards, county fairs and the state fair.  Students receive awards, plaques, recognition, ribbons, and cash prizes for hard work.

Scholarships: Each year the chapter sponsors scholarships in memory of Mr. Leo Daughtry and William I. Danger to support students furthering their education in agriculture.
